Once rescheduled, a new traffic advisory will be posted. SDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while this work is being completed.

UPDATE: 6th Ave Closure for Paving Project on April 13
SDOT is advising travelers that 6th Ave will close between Madison St and Marion St from 9a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 13.
If weather does not permit crews to perform concrete work on Friday, April 13, crews will close 6th Ave between Madison St and Marion St from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 16. The closure will allow crews to pour concrete for the northwest curb ramp at 6th Ave and Marion St.
As noted, this work is weather-dependent and subject to change. Please note this advisory includes the most updated work schedule. SDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while this work is being completed.
Travelers can expect:
- 6th Ave to be closed to all vehicular traffic except for buses between Madison St and Marion St from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- No local access during work hours
- Uniformed police officers will be on-site to direct traffic and signed detours will be in place
