SDOT advises travelers that from mid-February to early March, crews are conducting utility locating work along spot locations on 2nd Ave between Broad St and Pike St. Work involves digging small holes in the street to confirm utility locations.
Starting the week of February 13 through early March, travelers can expect minor impacts, including:
- Small sections of temporary vehicle lane restrictions
- Short-term/temporary parking and bike lane restrictions with 72-hour notice
- Weekday work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
This is preliminary work for the 2nd Ave Mobility Improvements project that will add and upgrade traffic signals and extend the 2nd Ave protected bike lane from Denny Way to Pike St. Please visit the project web page for more information: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/2ndave.htm.
SDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while this work is completed.
