SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events happening around the city this week that will affect area traffic. The annual WE Day conference is Wednesday at KeyArena. Top Pot’s fun run is Sunday at Green Lake. Rihanna plays KeyArena Sunday night.
MONDAY, APRIL 18th:
Indigenous People Standing Against Disenrollment Rally and March: To raise awareness of tribal disenrollment of Native Americans. Event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. March from Westlake Park at 1:45 p.m. The march route travels east on Pine St, south on 5th Ave, east on Madison St, and south on 2nd Ave to Columbia St. About 400 people are expected to attend.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20th:
We Day Seattle: Speakers and performers celebrate youth making a difference in their local and global communities. At KeyArena in Seattle Center from 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. About 12,500 expected to attend.
SUNDAY, APRIL 24th:
Top Pot Donut Dash: The seventh annual 5K and kid’s dash around Greenlake to support Childhaven goes from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. West Green Lake Drive N will be closed to eastbound traffic and East Green Lake Way N will be closed to southbound traffic until 11 a.m. About 2,000 people are expected to participate.
Rihanna Concert: The “Anti World Tour” show starts at 7:30 p.m. at KeyArena. About 8,500 people are expected to attend.
