Crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation will repair the pavement on Dexter Avenue North from McGraw Street to Sixth Avenue North, working from Nov. 16 to Nov. 20 if the weather forecast is favorable. The work is needed to repair the pavement following previous excavation to repair underground utilities.
The crews will keep one lane of traffic open in each direction from 8 a.m. to 5 pm. Police officers will be present to assist with vehicular traffic and pedestrians. Bicyclists will merge with general traffic. On-street parking will be restricted. Drivers are advised to expect congestion on Dexter Avenue North and to consider alternate routes or allow extra time for their trips.
