Seattle Department of Transportation paving crews will repair a portion of pavement in the center lanes of Dexter Avenue North from McGraw Street to Sixth Avenue North on Thursday, Aug. 27, weather permitting. They plan to work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The crews will work in the northbound and southbound inside lanes, and traffic will be routed around the construction zone using the parking lanes. Bicyclists will merge with general traffic.
The southbound bus stop located north of the project will remain open. All sidewalks and crosswalks will remain open. Police officers will be present to assist traffic including bicyclists and pedestrians.
Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution in the area when crews are working.
