Several lanes will be closed in downtown Seattle this weekend for the installation of a tower crane, for sewer repairs, and for roadway restoration.
First Avenue, Lenora Street—On Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10, the left lanes of north and southbound First Avenue will be closed between Lenora and Virginia streets from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for sewer repairs and roadway restoration. Also, Lenora Street will be closed between First and Second avenues.
Second Avenue—On Saturday, May 9, Second Avenue will be fully closed between Stewart and Pine streets from midnight to 7 p.m. for the installation of a tower crane.
Stewart and Terry streets—On Saturday, May 9, the south curb lane and adjacent travel lane on Stewart Street between Boren and Terry avenues will be closed for the installation of a tower crane. Also, Terry Avenue will be fully closed between Howell and Stewart streets during this work.
Third Avenue—On Saturday, May 9, one lane in each direction will remain open on Third Avenue between Lenora and Virginia streets from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for restoring the roadway.
Fifth Avenue—On Saturday, May 9, the northbound transit only contra-flow lane on Fifth Avenue between James and Cherry streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadway restoration. The southbound, left lane on Fifth will also be closed.
