SDOT is advising travelers to be aware of events happening around the city through the weekend that will add to area traffic. The We Day event at KeyArena is on Thursday, April 23. The Cinerama is hosting the NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth) Film Festival that starts with an evening event on Thursday April 23. The Mariners play the Astros Monday through Wednesday; and the Twins Friday through Sunday at Safeco Field. Sounders FC play Sunday at CenturyLink.
The We Day Seattle is Thursday, April 23. There will be Bus loading and unloading at Seattle Center for students. About 11,500 people are expected. Buses will use curb lanes for drop-offs between 8-10 a.m. and pick-ups between 2 – 4 p.m. on east side of 1st Ave. N between Thomas and Republican streets, south side of Republican between 1st Ave. N and Warren Ave. N, east side of Warren between Republican and Mercer, south side of Mercer between Warren and 5th Ave N, eastside of 4th Ave. N between Mercer and 5th, west side of 2nd Ave. N between Thomas and Denny Way, both sides of Thomas between Warren and 5th, and east sides of Warren between Thomas and John streets. University Of Washington vs. Cal Crew Regatta on Montlake Cut is Saturday, April 25 at 9 a.m. About 700 people are expected.
The Top Pot Doughnut Dash is Sunday, April 26 at Green Lake Park, and on streets adjacent to the Park. About 2,500 people are expected.
