SDOT is advising travelers to be aware of events happening around the city through the weekend that will add to area traffic. Emerald City Comicon runs Friday through Sunday at the Convention Center, added downtown traffic is expected. Sounders play Tuesday night and there are KeyArena events scheduled Friday and Saturday. Taste Washington runs Saturday and Sunday at the CenturyLink Field Events Center.
TUESDAY, MARCH 24, 2015:
National Geographic Live!: National Geographic hosts a student matinee lecture at Benaroya Hall that goes from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. There are about 2,500 attendees expected. School buses will drop off and pick up students on streets around Beneroya Hall. SPD will assist with bus traffic.
SEATTLE SOUNDERS SCHEDULE (at CenturyLink Field):
Tuesday, March 24: vs. Club Tijuana; 7:00 p.m. start. 39,000 people are expected to attend.

SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 2014:
Magnolia Little League Parade: Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts approximately 1 hour. The route starts at W McGraw Street and Westmont Way W; east on McGraw to 32ndAvenue W; north on 32nd to W. Smith Street and onto Magnolia Playfield; parade staging begins at 8:30 a.m. 2,200 people are expected and SPD will escort.
