Aug. 7 update to the information below:
Crews were unable to complete the grinding work last night due to conditions underneath the roadway surface and will continue grinding tonight, Thursday, August 7. Traffic control will remain the same and crews will begin grinding at 7 PM until 7 AM, Friday, August 8.
The north side of Holman Road Northwest between Northwest 87th Street and Eighth Avenue Northwest will be closed beginning Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 7 p.m. for grinding and paving work, if weather permits. Traffic will be shifted to the south side of the roadway where one lane will remain open in each direction. The lane closures and traffic reconfiguration will remain in place until Aug. 14, when paving of that section will be complete.
Following completion of the north side of the roadway, on Aug. 14 the south side of Holman Road NW will then be closed for grinding and paving between Northwest 87th Street and Eighth Avenue Northwest. Traffic will be shifted to the north side of the roadway with one lane open in each direction until Friday, Aug. 22, when paving on the south side will be complete.
