The westbound lanes of Holman Road Northwest between Seventh Avenue Northwest and Greenwood Avenue North will be closed beginning Monday, June 9, at 8 p.m. for grinding and paving work. Traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes of Holman Road Northwest, where one lane will remain open in each direction. The lane closures and traffic reconfiguration will remain in place until June 17, when paving is complete.
Following completion of the westbound lanes, eastbound lanes of Holman Road Northwest will then be closed for grinding and paving between Seventh Avenue Northwest and Greenwood Avenue North, and traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes, with one lane open in each direction. This paving is estimated to be complete by Friday, June 27.
Paving work is weather dependent, and scheduled dates are subject to change. Residents are advised that grinding is noisy and is scheduled to take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of June 9 and June 18.
Local bus access will be maintained for King County Metro’s Route 28 and RapidRide D Line. For information on bus service, look for Rider Alert notices at bus stops, see Metro Online, http://metro.kingcounty.gov/alerts/, or call (206) 553-3000.
