Paving crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation will work in two locations next week, weather permitting—one on Sylvan Way Southwest in West Seattle, and one on Fifth Avenue South and on South Kenyon Street in South Park.
On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the crews will make a pavement spot repair in the 2300 block of Sylvan Way Southwest, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. One lane will remain open and traffic flaggers will assist alternating directions of traffic through the construction zone.
On Tuesday through Friday, Jan. 14 to Jan. 17, the crews will install bus bays at bus stops in South Park. For the first two days they will work on Fifth Avenue South from South Chicago to South Kenyon streets. Traffic will be flagged through the area. For the second two days they will work on Kenyon Street. They plan to work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
