Mercer Corridor Project: Temporary daytime lane restrictions on Fifth Avenue N begin Monday, January 6, for approximately two weeks
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) advises travelers of temporary daytime lane restrictions on Fifth Avenue N beginning as early as Monday, January 6 for approximately two weeks to accommodate utility work beneath the roadway. During this work, travelers can expect the following impacts:
- Fifth Avenue N will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Harrison Street and Roy Street only during off-peak travel times weekdays, between approximately 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Travelers heading toward downtown from Queen Anne should utilize Queen Anne Avenue N and Denny Way as alternate routes.
- Travelers heading toward the Seattle Center and Queen Anne from downtown should utilize Denny Way and First Avenue N or Elliot Avenue W as alternate routes.
