Sounders and Seahawks fans will be rocking CenturyLink this weekend
Motorists can’t be too careful as excited little robots and monsters, possibly oblivious to cars, will be trick or treating in neighborhoods throughout the city tonight. In Magnolia Village, McGraw Street in the business district will be closed off from this afternoon through 6:30 p.m. for the annual Halloween Trick or Treat event so traffic may be congested on adjacent streets. The Fremont “Haunt of Halloween” will wind through the heart of Fremont impacting traffic in the evening with streets closing at 5:30 p.m.
CenturyLink will be shaking this weekend with football fans both nights. Saturday night the Sounders will pull in a loud crowd for their Western Conference semifinals soccer match against the Portland Timbers at 7 p.m. The Seahawks and the 12th Man will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday. Attendees for either game might need earplugs, throat lozenges, and extra time for traveling to and from the stadium.
