The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) advises travelers of upcoming nighttime lane restrictions on Ninth Avenue N and Westlake Avenue N beginning Monday, June 24:
- Ninth Avenue N will have nighttime lane restrictions beginning the evening of Monday, June 24 and ending the morning of June 27 as crews work to complete water main and stormwater utility work at the intersection of Ninth Avenue N and Broad Street. One lane in each direction will be maintained on Ninth Avenue N from Mercer Street to just north of Broad Street. Work hours will be 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Please note, Ninth Avenue N will re-open during the day to accommodate higher traffic volumes.
- Northbound Westlake Avenue N will have nighttime lane restrictions between Aloha Street and Eighth Avenue N beginning the evening of June 26 and ending the morning of June 28. During this time, Westlake Avenue N will be reduced to a single northbound lane as crews work on underground utilities along the curb lane. One lane of northbound traffic will be maintained at all times. Work hours will be from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
