There’s plenty of action in Seattle from which to choose starting tonight through Sunday night, April 17 to 21. Traffic associated with the events will likely be heaviest for the Mariner’s day game tomorrow at Safeco Field at 12:40 with 17,000 fans arriving during the lunch hour and leaving during the afternoon commute. Motorists may be slowed down Saturday morning as 800 runners using the westernmost lane of southbound Alaskan Way take part in the Earth Day Run from the Bell Harbor Conference Center to Myrtle Edwards Park and back again. Saturday night there’ll be some 40,000 motorcycle race lovers flocking to the Supercross event at CenturyLink Field with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. and the main event taking place from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Multiple events each day at the Seattle Center will pull in smaller crowds, but when combined will make for heavier traffic on streets surrounding the grounds.
