On Tuesday, April 2 at 9 a.m. through the evening of Wednesday, April 3, N 85th Street will be closed to eastbound traffic between Third Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue N. This closure is required for crews to remove and replace concrete panels on the south side of the roadway at Palatine Avenue N, and is being completed as part of the final wrap-up work related major construction on N 85th Street. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the case of rain.
During the eastbound closure of N 85th Street, traffic will be detoured to N 80th Street via Third Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue N. One westbound travel lane will be maintained through the work area. Drivers should expect some delays through the area and allow extra time for trips.
