Due to an inclement weather forecast, SDOT has postponed this week’s final pavement overlay on Linden Avenue between N 130th and N 141st streets. Paving was originally scheduled for March 27-28 but has been tentatively rescheduled for April 9-11.
In addition to the final paving, over the next few months crews will complete roadway striping, landscaping, the new sidewalk and the cycle track. Parking restrictions will be in place along the corridor as needed as work progresses.
Pedestrians, cyclists and motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone and expect traffic delays, gravel pathways, grooved pavement and loose asphalt, raised utility castings and man holes in the street.
Construction began June 18, 2012 and the entire project is expected to be complete by the end of the second quarter.
