On Wednesday, March 27, “We Day Seattle” is being held at the Key Arena bringing together 15,000 young people to celebrate the power of youth to create positive change in their local and global communities. Nobel Laureate Mikhail Gorbachev is the featured speaker among several celebrities. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The attendees will be arriving via 200+ buses and private vehicles. The doors open at 8 a.m. Traffic is expected to be heavier than normal on I-5 during the morning peak drive time and the Mercer corridor will likely be very congested during both the morning and afternoon commute.
