Starting today at noon through Sunday evening, there will likely be heavier traffic than usual surrounding the Seattle Center with several big-draw events taking place simultaneously. Huge crowds are expected to show up at the Key Arena as college women battle it out for the Pac 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament title. Crowds in the thousands will be going for the bling of the International Gem and Jewelry Show at the Exhibition Hall while opera-lovers will be going to La Boheme at McCaw Hall.
Additionally, the Friday afternoon commute could be a little heavier than normal in the SODO area as fans of Alicia Keys flock to her “Set the World on Fire” concert at the WaMu Theatre in the CenturyLink Event Center.
Thursday, March 7
