The southern leg of the intersection of Second Avenue South and South Jackson Street will be closed to traffic for approximately one week, beginning Friday morning, January 25, at 8 a.m. Seattle City Light will be making improvements to an electrical duct bank needed for the First Hill Streetcar, currently being constructed by the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The southern leg of the intersection will remained closed around the clock until the work is completed, which is expected by Friday, February 1. Late night and early morning construction noise is expected, and there will be some on street parking and loading restrictions.
