In follow up to Seattle City Light utility work, the Seattle Department of Transportation will restore the sidewalk on Union Street between Third and Fourth avenues. Working from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, the project will start tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22, and take two to three days to complete. The parking lane on the north side of the street will be blocked off during the work hours only, but the sidewalk will be closed around-the-clock until the project is finished. Nevertheless, the north side bus stop will remain accessible.
