The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is performing road repair work on N 34th Street in the Fremont neighborhood on Thursday, June 21st. Work includes grinding a small section of existing asphalt roadway, adjusting a utility casting, and resurfacing the area with new asphalt.
N 34th Street will be closed to westbound vehicle traffic for one block between Woodland Park Avenue N and Albion Place N from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The detour will be posted and will utilize Woodland Park Avenue N, N 35th Street and Albion Place N.
Albion Place N will be a one-way street, southbound only, between N 35th Street and N 34th Street.
Eastbound traffic on N 34th Street will not be affected.
This work requires fair weather; if the weather is not favorable, the work may be rescheduled.
Local access, pedestrian access, and access to businesses will be maintained during this work.
This work is funded by the Bridging the Gap transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November 2006.
