The block of Renton Avenue South between South Webster and South Holden streets will be resurfaced next week if weather conditions are favorable. Crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation plan to begin work on Tuesday, May 8 and complete the job by Friday, May 11, working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
The street will remain open to traffic and Police Officers will assist; however, 43rd Avenue South will be closed at Renton Avenue South. Bicyclists may want to use the sidewalk or use an alternate route to avoid the rough surface on Renton Avenue during paving. On-street parking will be restricted.
For information on bus service, look for Rider Alert notices at bus stops, see Metro Online, www.kingcounty.gov/metro or call (206) 553-3000.
This work is part of Seattle Department of Transportation’s annual paving program.
