February 2nd and February 3rd
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is performing road repairwork on Airport Way South in the Georgetown neighborhood.
Beginning Thursday February 2nd at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until Friday February 3rd at 5:00 p.m., southbound Airport Way South between 13th Avenue South and South Hardy Street traffic will be reduced to one lane (northbound lanes will not be affected).
Additionally, on Friday morning February 3rd from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. there will be short-term traffic interruptions in the southbound and northbound lanes of Airport Way South between South Lucile Street and 13th Avenue South.
Local access, pedestrian access, and access to businesses will be maintained during this work.
This work is funded by the “Bridging the Gap” transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November 2006.
