The contractor working to widen the Spokane Street Viaduct will close access to westbound Spokane Street at East Marginal Way S overnight from November 17 at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, November 18. The closure is needed for construction of the new off-ramp to Harbor Island. Traffic will be rerouted as follows:
Southbound to First Avenue; across First Avenue South Bridge; to West Marginal Way
The south portion of the intersection of East Marginal Way and Spokane Street will remain open, so traffic eastbound from Harbor Island can continue east onto Spokane Street.
See www.seattle.gov/spokane for more details on this project.
