The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) has made improvements on East Marginal Way South in the Georgetown neighborhood, and the street is ready for pavement striping. This work requires dry weather. The crews plan to perform the work, weather permitting, on Monday, November 7 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
East Marginal Way South, between South Michigan Street and Fourth Avenue South, will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Uniformed police officers will be on hand to keep traffic moving. Local access, pedestrian access, and access to businesses will be maintained during this work.
This work is funded by the Bridging the Gap transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November 2006.
