The Seattle Department of Transportation’s Mercer Corridor Project announces nighttime lane closures on westbound Broad Street beginning as early as Monday night, October 3, and continuing Monday through Thursday nights for two to three weeks.
One lane of westbound Broad Street between Westlake Avenue N and Fifth Avenue N will be closed during this night work and the other westbound lane will remain open at all times. A pedestrian corridor will be maintained through the area. Night work hours are 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
This closure accommodates underground electrical installations crossing Broad Street and the construction of a temporary retaining wall alongside the roadway.
