The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is paving Corson Avenue South between East Marginal Way South and South Michigan Street. Starting Friday, September 16, southbound traffic will be detoured at Michigan Street around the clock for four to seven days for paving and pavement marking. Also on Friday, new asphalt will be laid on Corson between South Warsaw Street and South Michigan Street between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This project is funded by the Bridging the Gap transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November of 2006.
