Beginning Monday, August 29th
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is in the midst of a paving project on Corson Avenue S between E Marginal Way S and S Michigan Street.
On Monday, August 29, there will be a change in the detour for traffic on Corson Avenue S between S Michigan Street and E Marginal Way S. Northbound traffic will not turn north onto Corson, but instead it will continue north on E Marginal Way to eastbound S Michigan Street then onto Corson Avenue S. The detour route will be posted and in place around-the-clock for four to six weeks.
Police officers and flaggers will be on site during the work hours to keep vehicles moving.
This project is funded by the “Bridging the Gap” transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November of 2006.
