Seattle Department of Transportation crews will begin remarking the left-turn lanes on Elliott Avenue West at West Mercer Place on June 13, weather permitting, and expect to complete the project in three to six weeks. The left-turn lane from Elliott Avenue West onto West Mercer Place will remain open with signage guiding traffic. Drivers should expect congestion as well as periodic lane restrictions during off-peak hours. All lanes will remain open during peak traffic times. Access to nearby businesses will be maintained.
The purpose of the work is to lengthen the left-turn lanes on Elliott Avenue West. For more information, please see SDOT’s Mercer West project Web site.
