The Seattle Department of Transportation will close lanes next week on three bridges for maintenance work:
Jose Rizal Bridge (12th Avenue South) — the southbound, right lane of the Jose Rizal Bridge will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays from January 18 to February 4. The sidewalk will remain open. Crews will make repairs to the under-side of the bridge. During this time, Dearborn Street under the bridge will be restricted to one lane in each direction.
University Bridge — the northbound, right lane will be closed on January 19; the southbound right will be closed on January 20. If the work is not finished on one of the sides, the unfinished side will also be closed on January 21. The bike path will be closed in the same direction of the lane closure, but the sidewalk will remain open.
West Seattle Bridge — the westbound, right lane will be closed on January 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
