The Seattle Department of Transportation will reduce East Marginal Way South to one lane with flaggers alternating traffic on Friday, December 17, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure will start at Massachusetts Street and will extend approximately 1000 feet south on the west side of the street. The bike lane will remain open and signage will be added to increase safety/awareness.
The closure is to facilitate emergency repairs to damage on East Marginal Way created by the latest run of heavy rains. The Crews will try to expedite the work and be clear by the afternoon commute.
