Seattle Department of Transportation’s paving crews plan to pave the northbound roadway on East Marginal Way South, just south of South Spokane Street, at Duwamish Avenue where the street crosses under the raised roadway of State Route 99. The crews plan to perform this work, weather permitting, on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 14 and 15, working from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The route will remain open for vehicles, but they will be directed around the construction work. Drivers should expect significant delays, and should consider alternate routes. Two Police Officers and two flaggers will assist.
This roadway is heavily used for freight traffic headed for Alaskan Way, Harbor Island and West Seattle, and is in great need of repair.
