Seattle Department of Transportation crews will work on Saturday, August 21 installing concrete bus stops on 23rd Avenue East between East Harrison and East Aloha streets, and on East Madison Street between East John Street and 23rd Avenue East. One lane will remain open in each direction on 23rd Avenue and on Madison Street, but the sidewalks on the east side of 23rd and on the northwest side of Madison will be closed. The crews plan to work from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Friday, August 20 crews plan to spend approximately two hours on preparations at the same location, but with minimal traffic impacts.
