Northbound traffic to be detoured at S Royal Brougham Way to 7th Ave S
As part of its 2010 Arterial, Asphalt, and Concrete (AAC) program the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is rebuilding Airport Way S between South Royal Brougham Way and South Dearborn Street.
Over the weekend of August 13th, the contractor will begin rebuilding the east side of Airport Way South between South Royal Brougham Way and South Plummer Street.
Planned work hours are 7:00 p.m., Friday to early Monday morning.
During the weekend, northbound traffic on Airport Way S will be detoured via 7th Ave S. One south bound lane will remain open, however all traffic will be required to turn right on South Royal Brougham to get around the work zone. Royal Brougham Way S between Airport Way S and 7 Ave S will be closed. Vehicles will be directed onto Airport Way S.
Norman St. will be closed to through traffic at Airport Way South August 13th – 26th.
Parking and loading zone restrictions near the work zone and its approaches.
Access to all businesses will be maintained.
This project is funded by the “Bridging the Gap” transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November 2006.
