Footraces for the Rock and Roll Marathon will affect many streets in Seattle on Saturday. An estimated 25,000 people will participate in the 26.2 and 13.1-mile footraces. The event features free on-course entertainment, including live, local bands every mile of the course. The race starts in Tukwila, on Interurban Avenue, and makes its way to run along Lake Washington before turning towards downtown Seale on I-90. The marathon course will run up and back Alaskan Way Viaduct / Aurora Ave (Highway 99), and both routes will finish outside Qwest Field.
