Seattle Department of Transportation’s Roadway Structures crews will perform maintenance work on several bridges next week. The schedule below may change in the event that crews are called to work on other unplanned, emergency projects.
Holgate over I-5
Monday and Tuesday, May 17 and 18
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Traffic flaggers will assist traffic sharing one lane through the construction area. Crews will repair a damaged guard rail.
West Dravus Street over the railroad
Monday and Tuesday, May 17 and 18
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One lane will remain open while crews repair a damaged expansion joint.
University Bridge
Wednesday, May 19
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The northbound curb lane will be closed while crews perform a routine maintenance inspection.
Emerson Street Extension
Wednesday May 19
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The eastbound curb lane will be closed while crews repair a damaged guard rail.
Columbian Way over I-5
Wednesday and Thursday, May19 and 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The westbound, right lane will be closed while crews repair a damaged guard rail.
West Emerson Street Viaduct
Thursday and Friday, May 20 and 21
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One lane will remain open while crews repair a damaged expansion joint.
West Seattle (high level) Bridge
Friday, May 21
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crews will close the westbound, left lane while they perform an inspection.
Lucile Street Bridge
Friday, May 21
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A traffic flagger will assist traffic in both directions share one lane while crews perform a routine maintenance inspection.
Battery Street Tunnel
Saturday, May 22
7 a. m. to 12 p.m.
Crews will close the northbound, right lane from the Western Avenue off-ramp to the north portal of the tunnel while they test and repair the fire suppression system.
