SDOT and its contractor are making improvements to Airport Way South. As part of this work, crews are rehabilitating segments of the street base on Airport Way South between South Massachusetts and South Royal Brougham Way this week, April 12 to April 16.
During this work, only one northbound lane will be open between South Massachusetts Street and South Royal Brougham Way, except that northbound lanes will be open before the Mariners baseball game today (Monday, April 12).
Parking and loading zone restrictions will be in place in and around the work zone. Access to all businesses will be maintained. Police officers will be on site to keep traffic moving.
This project is funded by the “Bridging the Gap” transportation levy approved by Seattle voters in November 2006.
