This Saturday, April 3, an estimated 34,000 soccer fans are expected to attend the 7:30 p.m. match between the Seattle Sounders and the New York Red Bulls at Qwest Field. The Seattle Department of Transportation urges motorists heading for the event to allow themselves extra travel time. Construction of a new off-ramp from I-90/I-5 and a new overpass on S. Royal Brougham Way is nearing completion; however, at this time the Qwest Field Garage is only accessible from First Avenue S. and Occidental Avenue S. and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Fourth Avenue S. will be closed until April 21.
