Montlake Boulevard will be restricted to one lane in either direction at night through April 9.
Starting tonight (Thursday, March 25) between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., Sound Transit’s contractor will be cutting the asphalt and concrete across Montlake Blvd to prepare for the installation of the electrical ductbank that will provide power to the UW Station construction site and ultimately the University of Washington Station.
The following two weeks, between Monday (March 29) and Friday (April 9), the contractor will start the excavation and ductbank construction across Montlake Blvd. All of the work is scheduled at night to minimize impact to automotive traffic.
