Seattle Department of Transportation’s paving contractor will close lanes on Fourth Avenue to work in the intersections of Pike and also at Olive this weekend, March 19-21.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 19, Pike Street, east of Fourth Avenue will be reduced to one lane. Fourth Avenue will be reduced to one lane between Pine Street and Olive Way, with traffic beginning to taper to one lane at Union Street.
On Saturday, March 20, once the concrete has been poured, two through lanes will be open on Pike Street east of Fourth Avenue, and two lanes will also be open on Fourth between Pine Street and Olive Way.
The contractor expects to complete the weekend work on Sunday, March 21.
