The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation will close Lake Washington Boulevard to through traffic in both directions, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., starting Monday, May 11. The closure will extend from Mount Baker Park to Stan Sayers Park and will be intermittent, when needed for maintenance. The department expects to complete the work by June 27, in time for the start of SeaFair.
During the closure, one lane will remain open for bicycles, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles.
The closures will allow Parks Department crews to perform tree maintenance.
