One more night of striping.
We’re wrapping up the 6th Ave downtown repaving project with overnight work on Monday, with roadway striping between James and Stewart streets. The very last step will be signal installation, at 6th and Seneca in early August–updates to follow.
What you can expect:
Monday, July 16 | 7 PM to Tuesday, July 17 | 5 AM
Expect overnight lane restrictions on 6th Ave between James and Stewart streets and a brief closure/detour for painting the intersection/crosswalks at 6th and Marion. Uniformed police officers will help direct traffic.
The final project element is the installation of a signal pole at 6th Ave and Seneca St, expected on August 6. This may be a combination of day and night work and requires coordination with King County Metro.
Thanks for your patience while work is being completed!
