SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events in the city that may affect traffic. The Seattle International Auto Show runs Thursday through Sunday. SDOT crews will close the Battery Street Tunnel/SR 99 in both directions from Friday night to Saturday morning. Crews will also close both directions of the West Seattle Bridge (Fauntleroy Expressway) to replace jersey barriers Friday night to Saturday morning.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9 – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10:
Battery Street Tunnel/SR 99 closure: Crews will close the Battery Street Tunnel in both directions between Western Ave and John St from 11:59 p.m. Friday night to 5 a.m. Saturday morning for roadway paving above the tunnel.
West Seattle Bridge closure: Crews will close the West Seattle Bridge (Fauntleroy Expressway) in both directions between 35th Ave SW and SW Admiral Way from 11:59 p.m. Friday night to 7 a.m. Saturday morning to replace jersey barriers. Signed detours will be in place.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9:
Protest the Eritrean Regime’s Atrocities: March starting at 10:30 a.m. from 24th Ave and E Spruce St, heads south on 24th Ave, east on E Yesler Way, north on 3rd Ave, west on Madison St to Federal Building on 2nd Ave. About 100 people are expected to participate.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9 – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12:
Seattle International Auto Show: At CenturyLink Event Center. Hours are Thursday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. About 2,000 to 5,000 people are expected to attend each day.

Cowabunga: Festival of Beef in South Lake Union with events on Amazon Plazas. Hours are Friday 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. About 8,000 people are expected to attend.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11:
SODO Flea: Vintage flea market on Occidental Ave S between S Hanford and S Forest streets, and S Forest St between Occidental Ave S and 1st Ave S. Streets closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. About 2,000 people are expected to attend.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12:
Fall Out Boy Concert: At KeyArena at 7 p.m. About 12,000 people are expected to attend.
