SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events in the city that may affect traffic. The Washington State Department of Transportation will close the eastbound direction of the 520 bridge from Friday night to Monday morning. Puget Sound Heart and Stroke walk is Saturday at Seattle Center. Sounders play Dallas on Sunday 4:30 p.m. at CenturyLink.

Eastbound SR 520 closing Friday October 13 through Monday, October 16 From 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, WDSOT crews will close all eastbound lanes of SR 520 and all associated on- and off-ramps between I-5 and 84th Avenue Northeast. During the closure, crews will move the eastbound transit/HOV lane closer to Montlake, giving drivers an HOV lane about a mile farther west than the current configuration.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14:
Nationwide Solidarity March for Peace: A peach march from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. starts at Colman Dock, then to Occidental Park, finishing at City Hall. About 2,000 people are expected to participate.
Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk: goes from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and starts at Seattle Center and goes Downtown and returns to Seattle Center via Mercer St, 5th Ave. N, Cedar St, 4th Ave. Denny Way, and 2nd Ave. N. About 6,200 people are expected to participate.
SODO Flea: Vintage Flea Market will close Occidental S between S Hanford and S Forest Streets, and S Forest St between 1st Ave S and Occidental Ave S from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. About 2,000 people are expected to attend.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15:
No Muslim Ban Ever: Rally at Westlake Park starts at 1 p.m. followed by a march at 2:20 p.m. Route leaves Westlake on Pine St, south on 2nd Ave, east on Pike St, north on 6th Ave returning to Westlake Park on Pine St. About 200 people are expected to participate.
Seattle Sounders vs. FC Dallas: At CenturyLink Field starts at 4:30 p.m. About 45,000 people are expected to attend.
Arcade Fire Concert: at KeyArena starts at 7:30 p.m. About 15,000 people are expected to attend.
