SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events happening around the city that will affect area traffic. The annual Jingle Bell Run is Sunday morning in downtown Seattle. WSDOT is closing the SR 520 bridge for roadwork between Montlake Blvd and Bellevue from Friday night at 11 p.m. until Monday morning at 5 a.m. The bicycle and pedestrian path on the floating bridge will also be closed. Pacific Northwest Ballet’s The Nutcracker at McCaw Hall. Show times vary. About 2,900 people are expected to attend each performance.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9:
Louis C.K. Concert at WaMu Theater at 8 p.m. About 6,000 people are expected to attend.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11:
Jingle Bell Run: Annual fundraising event for the Arthritis Foundation. Event starts and finishes on Pine St adjacent to Westlake Park. Race begins at 8 a.m. About 10,000 people are expected to attend.
Stevie Nicks Concert at KeyArena at 7 p.m. About 9,000 people are expected to attend.
