Grads, Grads and more Grads and that’s not all!

Drivers need to plan ahead and pack patience

The sold-out Mariners versus Yankees game is just hours away, as well as the first of many graduation ceremonies and community events taking place over the next three days. Drivers will find the events far more enjoyable if they plan ahead to avoid traffic delays associated with all the activities.

The Seattle Department of Transportation encourages motorists to consider helping out the effort to reduce air pollution by parking the car at home and opting for one of the many alternate forms of transportation available – Metro Transit, the Sounder, Link light rail, West Seattle Water Taxi, the Seattle Streetcar, the monorail, carpool, bicycle, or even walk – if feasible.
